解決 snmp 的問題

每五分鐘 (應該是 cron.d 的設定) mailscanner-mrtg 就會噴一個錯誤訊息：

Nov 27 09:15:01 lnx02 MailScanner-MRTG[1961]: ERROR: iptraffic counters not fully initialised - no iptraffic data on this run.  This is normal on the first run, or when the previous run was more than 5 minutes ago (e.g. when rebooting).  If these errors persist over multiple runs please check that snmpd is running on your system.  If you don't want to run snmp please ensure that you have disabled it in mailscanner-mrtg.conf.  For more hints about snmp see README.SNMP in the docs directory

檢查系統：
snmpd 

libnet-snmpd-perl

都有裝

查看 README.SNMP 

有提到，mailscanner-mrtg 僅支援 net-snmp

debian 6.0 (squzzy) 的系統裝的就是 net-snmp

只是為了合法性，不主動提供 MIB package 

使用者得自己想辦法裝

參考這一篇

https://packages.debian.org/squeeze/snmp-mibs-downloader

下載 tarball 檔後，用

make install 

安裝 snmp-mibs-downloader

然後執行

download-mibs

會出現找不到 smistrip 的錯誤，用 apt-get 補上後重新執行

download-mibs

mailscanner-mrtg 就不會再噴錯誤，系統的監測圖表也會出現資料
